WHAT TO EXPECT

Our horse stables and summer headquarters are located one-mile west of the Blinking Light (US 64 & Hwy 434) in Angel Fire — a 30-40 minute drive from Taos, Red River, Eagle’s Nest, or Cimmaron, and under 2 hours from Santa Fe, Las Vegas and Raton.

This guided tour takes you on a beautiful half day trail ride through the Carson National Forest to the high mountain green meadows of New Mexico. We will enjoy a western style packed lunch at Bull Springs next to the meadows among the plentiful wild flowers. Seated on horseback at over 10,000 ft you find yourself taken away viewing the exclusive birds and unique wildlife that can only be found in the beautiful scenic views of our Sange De Cristo Mountains. A true, old fashioned, western trail ride we know your family will enjoy and remember for a lifetime.
