NMRA Reservation Cancellation Policy
First and foremost, we make every effort possible to accommodate the needs of our guests. New Mexico River Adventures service operates under special permits from the Bureau of Land Management, Taos Field Office, and USFS Santa Fe National Forest and are limited in space through permit stipulations put forth by these regulating agencies. When a reservation is confirmed, it becomes an assured/guaranteed reservation. At this point, New Mexico River Adventures is committing to hold that space for you and remove that space from the market. If you decide to cancel, it can be difficult for us to rebook the space, not to mention the fact that we might have been forced to turn away other clients for the same space, especially in the case of cancellations that occur close to the reserved trip date. With this is mind, we must firmly adhere to the policies listed below:
New Mexico River Adventures reserves the right to cancel or deny any person to participate in any trip or guided activity based on safety issues related to medical conditions, physical limitations, water levels, river conditions and, wildfire. NMRA trips go out rain or shine. River activities still go in the case of thunderstorms. We do not make exceptions to the cancellation policy for any reason. We cannot make exceptions for personal illness and injury. No refunds will be given for: late arrivals, no shows, or early departures. We urge our guests to purchase trip cancellation insurance. If you find it necessary to cancel your trip, please notify us as soon as possible.
Please do not ask us to make exceptions to our Cancellation Policy. Once we are within the timeframe noted on the Cancellation Policies detailed below, you are responsible for the entire trip cost, not just the deposit you have already paid. For example, if you only paid the 10% deposit for your Racecourse trip and you cancel within 72 hours of your trip date, we will charge your card for the full amount due.
